Excellent service, average portion, reasonable price.

Consistently great food. Great service. Even business men from Japan come to this restaurant when in town on business. Great adventure in other cultures foods for our children! Not every country has kids menus.

I have eaten here for years, excellent food and drinks. Wonderful staff.

Good prices! And the food wasn't the best thing I've ever had but it was good and brought to me in a timely manner. Seems like they are under staffed but all things considered the employees were pretty incredible. Fast and no noticeable short cuts. I'll definitely eat here again.

My husband and I have been to Sakuma many times and always it is wonderful. We lived in Japan for 6 months so we have some idea of what Japanese food "should" taste like and this very authentic. The people who work there are actually Japanese and many of the costumers are too so if you want to try delicious, real Japanese food - this is the place! We love it!

Delicious food, kind of hidden, I like this place quite a bit. I get the chicken Katsu and it was delicious.

I came in alone and the restaurant had a sign that said to please wait to be seated. Only 4 tables were occupied out of a little over a dozen and i was waiting for about 30 minutes. No one else came in and two of the tables ended up leaving and i was still waiting to be seated when there were two waiters. Made eye contact with both waiters in the process. I ended up leaving and called a friend to complain. She told me i already drove there and i should seat myself so i was like heck yeah. I tried to do so and the wait staff stopped me and asked if they could help me with anything like yeah no duh.Food was good but i wont be coming back.

two days ago was the first time in this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the courteous service, with the exceptional cuisine and booze and with the friendly pay. We will no doubt visit there again.

My husband and I eat here every week (sometimes multiple times) and we've NEVER been let down. I still can't believe that this little gem is located in a strip-mall on the Mukilteo Speedway! Sakuma's is a traditional Japanese restaurant and sushi bar, so don't come here for that americanized fusion sushi where everything is deep-fried and covered in some exotic aioli (aka Mayo) and a sugar sauce used to cover up the fact that the fish isn't sushi grade. Come here for the fish! Sakuma only serves the best. Period. If the fish isn't perfect it's off the menu. There are delicacies here like Ankimo (monkfish liver) that I wouldn't order anywhere else. The food from the kitchen is also awesome. The atmosphere is clean, casual, and comfortable.

Nice place. Reasonably priced Japanese food. I had chicken teriyaki and it was fine, not OMG, but fine. Service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend this place for lunch.

They have a diverse menu which gives many options for food (picky eaters). I also was really impressed how everything was hand wrapped in Saran Wrap, even the mashed potatoes! It was an amazing experience and I am definitely going back!

Friendly service and delicious food. About the food, the portions given are simple, not too much, nor too little. The environment is very relaxing and quiet to enjoy all this. Sakuma brings a lot of childhood memories, and I will keep coming back.

Classical Japanese restaurant does everything rightService was fast and exceptionally polite considering I had just came from working out and looked a bit homeless.Nice peaceful atmosphere and environment. Gentle music.Food around the $12-$18 price range (including tax) for one person depending on if you want teriyaki or the slightly pricier sushi.Teriyaki tasted great. Standard restaurant quality deliciousness. Portion size was average. I have seen slightly bigger plates but still very filling.Sushi was delicious. However, I will say the non-roll sushi fell apart in my chopsticks, separating the fish from the rice. Minor gripe aside, Ingredients are very fresh. Overall, good eating, worth the money for a not particularly unique but definitely scrumptious teriyaki/sushi meal.

Unassuming strip mall appearance is a unsuccessful disguise that is exposed by all the nice reviews out there. Authentic Japanese cuisine and quality food, variety of menu choices and of good value.Attentive services. Great place to have my dinner here as a visitor to this area.

Best Japanese food in the greater Everett area. I get the bento every time. One of the only places that doesn't give you filler foods in your bento meal. Also, the place is ran by Japanese people, not Koreans. Not that it matters but it means I don't get Korean fusion dishes. I get delicious Japanese food!

I've been going here for years, and while being a little pricy (but on par for the Seattle area), the quality is always top notch. Highly recommended!

We ordered dynamite rolls, salmon rolls, spicy tuna rolls, spider rolls, tempura udon, nabeyaki udon, n green tea fried ice creamTasted all fresh n yummyI wished the udon size a little bigger

Had the salmon luncheon special. It was a complete meal including tea and a large soup with noodles. The salmon was excellent and included 1 tempura shrimp. Good service and nice atmosphere despite being located in a busy parking lot.

Great food and service. Sashimi portions on small side but delicious.
